Dr. Samuel Armitage
Director of Clinical Diagnostics
Dr. Armitage is a board-certified pathologist and clinical diagnostics innovator with over 22 years of experience in laboratory medicine. He trained at Mayo Clinic's Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and went on to lead diagnostic innovation programs at two major health systems before joining Front Door Labs.
His work on expanding reference ranges from “normal” to “optimal” has been published in Clinical Chemistry and the American Journal of Clinical Pathology. “A lab result without context is just a number,” Dr. Armitage says. “We give people the context to understand what their biomarkers mean for their health today and their risk profile tomorrow.”
